About the Book

  • Synopsis
The Ghost at Skeleton Rock by Franklin W. Dixon (1957) is the 37th book in the Hardy Boys Mystery Stories series. Frank and Joe Hardy find themselves caught up in a dangerous smuggling operation involving counterfeit money and stolen jewels when they travel to the Caribbean. The mystery centers around a mysterious signal light spotted at a foreboding rock formation known as Skeleton Rock, which appears to be connected to a criminal gang using the remote location to conduct their illicit activities. As the boys dig deeper, they face threats and close calls in an adventure that takes them from the streets to the sea, combining tropical atmosphere with the Hardy Boys' trademark blend of action and detection.
